In this hands-on, practical course, you'll learn how to explicitly teach all of the components of reading and spelling individual words. We'll cover phonemic awareness; spelling patterns and syllable types; prefixes, suffixes and roots; and word origins. Whether you teach beginning, emergent or remedial readers, this course will be applicable to your classroom.
